Relic-Knight Diomedes

This is Relic-Knight Diomedes, the Chief Librarian of my chapter, the Brotherhood of Steel.

Diomedes was a powerful psyker tasked with defending an important hive city from an ork waaagh!, one led by an unusually powerful weirdboy. Diomedes and the weirdboy fought in a psychic duel as their forces clashed in the ruins. Diomedes weathered the ork's brutal assault as he closed in for melee, slaying the weirdboy with his force weapon. Unfortunately, the weirdboy explodes, its powers coursing out of control, and Diomedes was almost killed, losing both legs, his right arm and most of his abdomen.
Using his last reserves of strength, Diomedes threw up a protective barrier around the hive city, allowing his forces to defeat the orks piece by piece. Falling unconscious, Diomedes was resuced by his battle brothers in the nick of time.
Diomedes later awoke in the armoured form of a dreadnought. Since then, he has lead his brothers to victory, his psychic might enhanced by his iron frame, becoming the Chief Librarian of his chapter.
